A city-wide issue

To the editor: This information is being furnished with regards to the recent sewer back-up into some homes at plat 1 of The Vineyard.  The problem is a citywide issue which the City of Oregon is monitoring in order to take corrective action.  When the previous owner developed plat 1 there was no plumbing code requirement to install back water valves.  Current plumbing codes have incorporated the use of these valves when plumbing fixtures are installed in the basement level. This is one reason why Oregon Homes, which is building in plat 2 (Merlot Village at the Vineyard) has had no issues with sewer back ups.  Oregon Homes invites you to visit the newest model the "Concord.”  This ranch style home offers over 1,800-square feet of living space along with basement and attached two-car garage.  The Concord model is now under construction and will be priced in the $180's complete.
