If you’re lucky, you have someone special in your life who not only is a great person, but also inspires you to be a better person.

Such is the case with a young, beautiful and compassionate 26-year-old licensed social worker who is in my life.

 
50 is the “new” what? You can enjoy your “Boomer” youth

We’ve all heard these phrases before – black dresses are the “new white,” grey is the “new black,” 40 is the “new 30” and 50 is the “new 40”…or some gibberish like that.

Let’s take a step back and see how this evolves, at least in my universe.

 
Does Medicare have you baffled?

It’s that time of year again – time to review the different parts of Medicare – Original Medicare, Medicare Advantage and/or Part D plan.

Your plan’s cost and coverage may stay the same, however, your health or finances may have changed, making it crucial to understand how your plan will meet your needs during the upcoming year. The most important change to note is the Annual Election Period (AEP) is now through Dec. 7, 2011 for a Jan. 1, 2012 effective date.
