Water district employees awarded

  The Northwestern Water and Sewer District  has announced  that employee Jarred Myers received the Collection Systems Award from the Ohio Water Environment Association (OWEA) Northwest Chapter in Napoleon, Ohio.  This award recognizes Jarred for his work in wastewater management in the area.

  He is a construction crew leader at the district. 

Water district has a new logo

 The Northwestern Water and Sewer District has unveiled a new logo and has introduced its first official tagline.  The newly designed logo features a two-color water drop with crisscrossing lines that visually  represent the district’s water and sewer infrastructure.

Its text formatting gives prominence to “The District,” a phrase commonly used by employees and customers to condense the organization’s name.  The previous logo’s background included an Ohio silhouette.

Homecare store opening

 The O.E. Meyer Co., an employee-owned company in homecare equipment and services, announces the grand opening of the 9,000-square-foot Homecare Store facility at 30595 Tracy Road in Walbridge.   An official grand opening is scheduled for April 5 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is welcome to  visit the new 2,300 square foot retail showroom, meet the staff, ask questions and shop.  The larger retail floor space will allow for a much larger variety of product selection and a more pleasurable shopping experience for its customers.
