Public Notice - Request for Bids-Farm Ground

The Village of Elmore will lease, to the highest bidder, 52,125 acres of land for agricultural purposes. The Ottawa County Auditor lists this land as Parcel number 019-05310-25192-0001. This land generally lies North of the Ohio Turnpike and Southwest of the North Coast Inland Trail in Elmore, Ohio.

The successful bidder will be awarded a threeyear or fi ve-year lease to farm the property. Bids should be sealed in an envelope labeled “Farm Bid” or similar designation. Your bid should be an amount of dollars you are willing to pay per tillable acre per year for a three-year lease and the amount you are willing to pay for a fi ve-year lease.

Please include your name and contact information with your bid. All bids must be received by January 31, 2019 by noon at the Village offi ce. You may hand-deliver your bid to 344 Rice Street, Elmore, Ohio. You may also mail your bid to the Village of Elmore, PO Box 3, Elmore, Ohio 43416.

The Village retains the right to reject any and all bids.

The Woodmore Board of Education, is requesting sealed bids for a section of the Woodmore High School Roof.

Bids are due by January 15, 2019. Bids will be opened at 9:30 AM January 16, 2019.

Bids shall be mailed or delivered to the Woodmore Board of Education, 349 Rice St. Elmore, OH 43416. Bids must
be enclosed in a sealed envelope and marked “Woodmore High School Roof Bid.”

PUBLIC NOTICE
The City of Northwood will be holding a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers of the Northwood Municipal Building, 6000 Wales Road, Northwood, Ohio 43619 for zoning changes on January 3, 2019 at 7 p.m.

Planning Commission made the recommendation to Council on 12-10-18 to approve amending the Northwood Planning and Zoning Code Sections 1222, 1240.6, 1247, 1250 and 1275 with modifications to promote the development / redevelopment of areas within the Woodville Mall (“Enclave”) Great Eastern overlay District and the Central Business District.

 

CHIP PUBLIC INFORMATION FORUM

The City of Northwood will be hosting a public information forum for Northwood residents to discuss the current housing programs and incentives that the City of Northwood offers to fix up residential properties.

We will be discussing the CHIP program, (Community Housing Impact & Preservation) which is available through Wood County with funding available for Private Owner Rehabilitation and Home Repair assistance.

This public information forum will take place on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at the Municipal Building, 6000 Wales Road, Northwood, Ohio 43619.

 

BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS PUBLIC HEARING

Coutcher Variance Request

January 14, 2019

The Village of Oak Harbor Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on January 14, 2019 at 7 P.M. in the council chambers, 146 N. Church Street. 

The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comment on the following variance requests to Section 153.042 General Lot Area Regulations (D) Corner Lots to allow side yard clearance of 10’ on the side street in lieu of the required 25’ side yard clearance and a variance request to Section 153.043 General Yard Requirements (D) Yard Exceptions (2) Garages and Accessory Buildings, to allow accessory building of 2400 square feet (30’ x 80’) in lieu of the allowable 2/3 of the living space of the principle dwelling, not to exceed the maximum allowable of 900 square feet and a 0’ offset in lieu of the required 10’ offset from the rear of the principle dwelling, requested by Paul/Patricia Coutcher 235 W. Lake St., property owners.
