Humane Society grateful

To the editor: The Humane Society of Ottawa County would like to thank Lisa and Bill Black, owners of the Ala Carte Café for hosting the Saturday-night beer tent at the Walleye Festival for the benefit of our shelter. All tips and raffle monies were donated to the Humane Society.

Lisa, Bill and their employees tended bar with volunteers from the Humane Society. We had a lot of fun and monies raised will help us to care for the unwanted and neglected animals in Ottawa County.
