Letters to the Press

Navarre Ave. beckons

To the editor: Despite numerous fast food places or less specialized sit-down restaurants like Bob Evans,  Oregon does not have any big family franchises like Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Texas Roadhouse, Red Robin etc. on Navarre Avenue.

Clay alumni

baseball thanks

To the editor: Clay High Alumni Baseball would like to thank The Metro Press for their coverage of our game on June 1.

Sports Editor Pat Eaken did a terrific job on announcing the game and came up with a great story for the sports section in The Press. We would also like to thank The Press photographer for his contribution.

Correction

The May 11 People column incorrectly included an item about a tree dedication ceremony at Friendship Park in Lake Township. The ceremony was held last year.
