The Ohio Young Birders Club recently hosted a BioBlitz at Port Clinton's Lakefront Preserve, documenting over 200 species of living things. This coastal wetland habitat provides a home to many unique plants and animals including, at left, a Bronze Copper. The Young Birders Club documented two state endangered mussels: the Eastern Pond Mussel and the Rayed Bean Mussel.
