| Lake fans are jubilant after guard Hannah Cox scores the winning goal in the Flyer's 36-33 heart-stopping victory over Genoa at Owens Community College. In the battle of the unbeatens, the Flyers got the better of the Comets for the fifth straight time as this rivalry has become one of the biggest girls basketbqall rivalries this area has ever seen. Moved to Owens because of tornado damage that destroyed the Lake Field House last June, the game still managed to fill the college field house to capacity.
