A group of men from the United Methodist Church have a habit of making sure everyone in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan has food on their table.
Donnelly, a sophomore striker for Coach Scott Wamer's Eagles, played Perrysburg 48 hours after the Anthony Wayne match and she knew something wasn't right.
"I started the game and my legs started to feel heavy and I felt weak and was having really bad headaches," Donnelly recalled. "I had to hold my head up during the game. I was starting to freak out. I had Wamer pull me out of the game. I couldn't handle it."
The non-profit group, which came to East Toledo earlier this year to fix cats for $25 each, will, head to the East Toledo Family Center, the drop-off site for cat owners, through December. The group will then transport the felines to the clinic, 5333 Secor Rd, between W. Laskey and Alexis roads, for the surgical procedure.
The open house will begin at 6 p.m. and be followed by the meeting at 7 p.m. Both will be held at Elmwood Local School, 7650 Jerry City Rd., Bloomdale.

The trustees said action will be taken after complaints about the vehicles are filed, but they won’t be scouring the township for alleged violations.
They approved the resolution last month after its third reading.
