An informational meeting for residents and property owners in the Stony Ridge and Lemoyne areas in Troy Township to discuss a sanitary sewer project is scheduled for April 22 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 5520 Fremont Pike.
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m.
Third District Toledo Councilman Mike Craig, who opposed a special use permit for a proposed convenience store at 2346 Seaman Street in East Toledo last month, did an about face as chairman of council’s Planning and Zoning Committee on March 18.
Area motorcycle enthusiasts interested in enhancing their knowledge about safe driving are invited to enroll in a Motorcycle Safety Training class being offered weekly through October Owens Community College’s Workforce and Community Services.
The Motorcycle Safety Training program is the only basic motorcycle-rider course offered in Wood County and is one of only 20 permanent training locations in Ohio.

The Lake Erie Committee has recommended a total catch limit of slightly more than 12 million pounds of yellow perch for the 2009 season, an increase of about 1.85 million pounds from last year.
The State Controlling Board has authorized the release of $200,000 for public road improvements in Perrysburg Township for an expansion project at First Solar, Inc.
The township has also committed to the project, which includes upgrading water and sewer lines on Cedar Park Boulevard.
