Ohio's mandatory boating law requires anyone born after 1/1/82 to have evidence of having successfully completed a boating education class. This applies to personal watercraft and supervisory person as well. Oregon City Council approved an agreement to purchase a portion of property at 7055 Corduroy Road for $20,000 for the Wolf Creek Riparian Corridor.
The city was awarded a $62,391 Coastal Management Assistance Grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources about two years ago to develop a Wolf Creek-Berger Ditch Corridor Restoration Plan and to buy a portion of property along Wolf Creek and improve drainage for the Wolf Creek Watershed.
Lake Township police executed arrest warrants Monday at the Woodville Road home of two persons indicted for their role in an alleged drug ring operating in northwest Ohio.
Neil Cannon and Jill Cannon were taken into custody at their residence at 1539 Woodville Road in Lake Township.
