A boil notice is in effect until noon o Tuesday, July 20 due to a watermain break over the weekend for residents on Oregon and Sheffield Drive (between Andrus & Brentwood), the Northwestern Water and Sewer District reports.

Lake Township Congregations will hold a Millbury-Lake Township-Moline Tornado Worship Service July 8 at 7 p.m. at Delventhal Construction Company, Rockland Avenue (SR 795 and Lemoyne Road, across from Lake High School).
The community is invited to come and offer thanks and show support for local emergency workers who responded in the wake of the June 5 tornadoes.
Fire, EMS and police agencies planning to attend are encouraged to bring a department vehicle. RSVP if attending to

The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two has announced that on Thursday, July 8 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the ramp on the Veterans' Glass City Skyway (VGCS) from Front Street to northbound I-280 will be closed to permit bridge inspection work. The suggested alternate route is southbound I-280; Navarre Avenue (Exit 7); northbound I-280.
On Friday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the ramp from southbound I-280 to Front Street (Exit 9) will be closed. Suggested alternate route: Navarre Avenue (Exit 7), northbound I-280; Front Street (Exit 9).
All work is weather permitting. |
