Voters in Elmore will decide two levy renewal requests Nov. 6 but the village administration isn’t planning any major projects with either.
A 3-mill, 5-year levy used for operating expenses is up for renewal as is a 2.5-mill, 3-year levy for maintaining roads and bridges.
Thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous World War II donor, Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio held a special flight Tuesday, Oct. 23 for veterans of the Vietnam War.
Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio is a non-profit organization formed in 2007 to send the veterans of Northwest Ohio to Washington, DC to see the memorials built to honor their service. To date, 1240 veterans have flown on 27 flights to see their memorials.
Children won’t be the only goblins and ghouls that make an appearance on Halloween. There are many locations in the area that are presumed to be haunted. In honor of Halloween, three of my friends and I decided to check out some haunted locations that were close to home.
