It was 1934 when 27 local women interested in beautifying the community joined together to form the Woodville Garden Club. Seventy-five years later, their mission continues. Each spring, Garden Club members take on the job of filling the urns at Trail Marker Park with greenery. They also fill the Main Street planter, which they built. The club will mark the anniversary with a luncheon. | | Members of the Woodville Garden Club include (front) Victoria Pan, Dorothy Tank, Mary Lou Busdiecker, Dewanna Myers, Mary Gray, Marilyn Hesselbart.
