Be part of the fun of the Spring Run, even if you don't have waders and a fishing pole.
 
The third annual Welcome Back Walleye Family Fun Day, sponsored by The Andersons, will be held Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Side Cut Metropark in Maumee.
 
This event is a chance for anglers and non-fishermen alike to be part of the excitement of the famous Spring Walleye Run going on now on the Maumee River.

Gather by the largest river on the Great Lakes for a day of fun, including:
 
• Fishing demonstrations
 
• Kids’ fishing rodeo
 
• Fishing competitions
 
• Food demonstrations
 
• Kids activities and crafts
 
• Educational displays
 
Pick up A Year of the Trail Passport during the event and receive your first stamp for completing a program.
