Chiropractor aims to reduce scheduling “pains in the neck”

“When you have a family with children it becomes even more challenging,” he added.

So Dr. Brown decided to make convenience in getting appointments and affordability top two priorities. Unlike many health care offices that have Monday to Friday hours from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., his office offers appointments seven days a week, with evening appointments until 9 p.m. available on select days.

New patients, who at many practices would wait days or even weeks for an appointment, are seen the same day or the next day in most cases, he said.

Dr. Brown offers flexible payment options and is an Ohio Medicaid, Bureau of Worker’s Compensation (BWC) and Medicare provider. His practice’s Web site offers new patient forms and an appointment managing system.

In addition, Dr. Brown has an on-site X-ray facility at his practice at 2467 Woodville Rd. Suite 2, Oregon, that eliminates the need for leaving the practice and going to a nearby hospital outpatient facility, then returning another day.

The office also offers therapeutic ultrasound, electronic muscle stimulation, sound massage, intersegmental traction, infrared therapy and more.

A 2006 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Brown is a licensed D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) in Ohio and Michigan.
