On June 18 and 19, several hundred people gathered at Conner Park in Fremont
to participate in the American Cancer Society’s annual Relay for Life of Sandusky County.
Forty-three teams registered for the event, including Team FFCU of Fremont Federal Credit Union. With the help of the community, Team FFCU was able to raise over $2,300 to support Relay for Life.
Fundraising for next year has already begun. Team FFCU will be participating in a fundraiser at Jimmy Bukkets July 16-18. Proceeds will go toward Relay for Life 2011. Jimmy Bukkets is located at 2815 N. CR 198 in Fremont. Call Fremont Federal Credit Union at 419-334-4434 for more information.
