The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Toledo Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) held an open house Nov. 9 at its new location at 1200 S. Detroit Ave.

“The VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System remains committed to veterans in Northwest Ohio,” said VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System (VAAAHS) Director Robert P. McDivitt. “The new Toledo Clinic will create a healing community designed to best serve Toledo-area veterans.”

VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System has had a CBOC location in Toledo since 1978, when it opened its Glendale location. The new 66,000 square foot CBOC opened in September. Veterans can find new and expanded services at the facility, including mental health, mental health compensation and pension exams, tele-medicine, dermatology, Click 2 Benefits, occupational therapy, physical therapy, ophthalmology, dental and the Faces of Heroes exhibit.
