Trustees OK health insurance plan
The Lake Township trustees have approved a health insurance plan for 2011 for township employees at a cost of $13,702 per month – an increase of about 12 percent from last year.

Twenty-two employees are covered by the plan.

The township belongs to a coverage pool sponsored by the Toledo Area Chamber of Commerce.

The trustees will hold their year-end meeting Dec. 31 at 11 a.m.

Organizational meeting
The Woodville Township Board of Trustees has scheduled its organizational meeting for 2011 on Dec. 29 at 8 a.m. in the fiscal office, 321 East Main Street, Woodville.

Board hours
The Ottawa County Board of Elections will be open Dec. 27-30 and closed Dec. 31 for the New Year holiday.

Normal office hours resume Jan. 2, 2011.

Named to plan commission
The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners has re-appointed Bruce Card and Betsy Slotnick to the county’s regional planning commission.

Their terms begin Jan. 1, 2011 and expire Dec. 31, 2013.
