Members of clergy from Lake Township churches recently broke ground for the first of two houses being built for families displaced by the June 5 tornado. The churches established the Hope Builds fellowship for the effort, which is relying on heavily on donated materials and labor. The houses are being built in the Walbridge area. Shown from left are: Pastor Bob Noble, Calvary Lutheran Church; Pastor Daniel Beaudoin, St. John’s Lutheran Church; Pastor Bob May, Stony Ridge United Methodist Church, and Fr. David Cirata, St. Jerome Catholic Church.
