Ottawa County Common Pleas Court Judge Bruce Winters was incorrectly identified in a May 31 story as municipal court judge.

Clay senior pole vaulter Meghan Scharer was the runner-up, not champion, at the Division I district pole vault championship. Whitmer senior Christina Schultz won the event on jumps. They both cleared the same height but Scharer had an earlier miss which gave Schultz the title, even though Baum’s Page (baumspage.com) listed Scharer first. Scharer did win the City League championship this year with a jump of 9-6 and was the district champion last year. Scharer has committed to the University of Dayton for soccer, not volleyball. The Press regrets the errors.
