A search warrant executed at a Clay Township residence resulted in the arrest of two people and authorities seizing marijuana plants, firearms, and equipment for growing marijuana indoors.

The Ottawa County Drug Task Force, detectives from the county sheriff’s department, and officers from the Clay Township Police Department executed the warrant Dec. 23 at 22784 W. Holt-Harrigan Road.

Melissa K. Moll, 29, and Daniel R. Flickinger, 52, have each been charged with possession of marijuana, cultivation of marijuana, and possession of cultivation tools.

All are fifth degree felony charges, according to the sheriff’s department.

The two were lodged in the Ottawa County Detention Facility, pending an initial appearance in the county municipal court.

Investigators also seized cash, processed marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

According to the municipal court Web site, an arraignment hearing was scheduled for Dec. 30.
