Workers’ compensation forum planned
State Representative Tim Brown and State Senator Randy Gardner will host Northwest Ohio employers April 15 for a roundtable discussion with Steve Buehrer, Administrator/CEO of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.
The employers will hear from Buehrer on BWC’s work over the course of two years to get injured workers healthy and back on the job and to maintain stable compensation rates.
“As we continue to focus our efforts in Ohio on job growth and economic expansion, this discussion will allow us to hear first hand from our employers about where Ohio is succeeding and where we need improvements,” Rep. Brown said.
The program will encourage input from employers on their interactions with the workers’ compensation system and for improvements.
“This will be a great opportunity to hear directly from those on the front lines who are working to maintain and create jobs in our community,” Gardner said.
