Preschoolers at WSOS Early Childhood
Center in Pemberville learned about fire
safety from members of the Pemberville
Volunteer Fire Department, who visited
the center in observance of National Fire
Prevention Month. Here firefighter Jim
Price explains some of the equipment
firefighters use. According to statistics,
last year, someone was injured in a fire
every 30 minutes in the U.S. To decrease
that number, local agencies are pushing
families to make a fire preparedness plan.
