Mainstreet Church plans Classic Car & Motorcycle Show Mainstreet Church will host a car and motorcycle show at their 795 Campus location, just off SR 795 and East Broadway Saturday, June 25.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Car show entries will still be accepted the morning of the event, with early arrivals receiving dash plaques. Trophies and plaques will be awarded to the best car and motorcycle in various categories.
“We made a decision to cancel the 2010 show because of property damage from the tornado and the number of volunteers involved in the relief effort,” said Grouplife Pastor Tom Caldwell. “We are especially looking forward to this year as yet one more small step of getting back to normal.”
In addition to the car show, the event will include live music, entertainment by DJ “Moose,” as well as children’s activities, lots of food and a visit by Mercy Health Partners’ Life Flight.
“We see this as a great opportunity to offer families a free, fun Saturday afternoon activity, close to home,” Caldwell said.
