Genoa Civic Theatre is looking for a few FrUiTCaKeS
 
The Genoa Civic Theatre will hold auditions for “FrUiTCaKeS,” a comedy by Julian Wiles, Sept. 14 and 15 at 7 p.m. at the theatre, 509-1/2 Main St., Genoa.

There are roles for four men, four women, six boys and seven girls. Actors between the ages of 8 and 80 are invited to audition. For more information, call 419-862-2629.

 
Black Swamp Arts Festival offers music, art & family fun

The 16th Annual Black Swamp Arts Festival will be held Sept. 5, 6 and 7 in downtown Bowl-ing Green. This year’s festival will feature a variety of visual artists from across the country, local and national musical acts and a large interactive youth area.
 
Festival hours are Friday from 5 p.m. to midnight (Main Stage and Concession Garden only); Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight (Main Stage and concessions only from 7 p.m. to midnight); and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
