The annual Lagrange Street Polish Festival sets records every year on attendance and food and beverage consumption, but this year, organizers are going for the world record – the Guinness Book of World Records, that is.

The perennial winner of the annual pierogi-eating contest will attempt to set a world record and put the Lagrange Street Polish festival on the world map.

Toledo’s Polish Village’s annual celebration of their heritage will be held July 11 from 5 to 11 p.m., July 12 from noon to 11 p.m. and July 13 from noon to 7 p.m.
