After months of work and hundreds of suggestions from the public,

the Toledo Science Center, formerly COSI Toledo, has a new name – the Imagination Station™.

Through July 12, Schedel Arboretum & Gardens in Elmore is exhibiting the works of the Athena painters. The Athena Art Society, one of the two oldest women’s professional art organizations in the country, was founded in 1903 at the original Toledo Museum of Art by a group of 18 Toledo artists led by Nina Spalding Stevens.

Today, Athena’s mission remains to assist and encourage women in all branches of the visual arts. Each year, the society awards a scholarship to a promising female artist, a membership in Athena and an invitation to exhibit with its juried show.
