Every day at the Wood County Fair, Aug. 4-10, promises to be fun and action-paced, but Saturday – Concert Day – offers something extra special with country music’s Little Big Town performing at 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 for reserved seats on the track and $20 in the grandstand. In addition, everyone must have a ticket and daily gate admission is $6 per person for those age 10 and over.

Though there is swine and junior fair state fair lamb weigh-in on Aug. 3, the fair opens to the public Aug. 4. Fair highlights by day:

Tuesday, Aug. 4: Veterans Day, includes harness racing at 1 p.m. and the official opening ceremony at 7:15 p.m., followed by the Youth Parade at 7:30 p.m. A baked goods auction at 9 p.m. in the Home and Garden World area caps the day.
