The Crosby Festival of the Arts – widely known as the region’s premiere fine arts festival – will mark its 47th year June 23 and 24 at the Toledo Botanical Garden, 5403 Elmer Dr., Toledo.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The 2012 festival will continue the tradition of showcasing quality original art created by more than 200 artists from across the country. Festival-goers can browse and buy stunning works from many exciting new artists as well as their returning favorites.
In addition, there will be live entertainment all weekend, a delicious selection of edibles, children's activities in the Children's Artistic Playhouse, beer and wine available for purchase, and much more.
Admission is $8 for adults and free for children 12 and under and Toledo Botanical Garden members. Discount tickets are available for $7 at area Anderson stores throughout the month of June.
Free parking and round-trip shuttle service are available at Walmart at the corner of Central Avenue and Holland-Sylvania Road. Scooters available for rent for those with limited mobility.
The Bancroft Street entrance to Toledo Botanical Garden will be closed to the public during the festival to accommodate the artists.
