An on-line drawing through 104.7 WIOT radio station landed four former Woodmore graduates the opportunity to compete in the Bud Light Fan Camp competition at the Lucas County Recreation Center.

In September, brothers Curtis and A.J. Schlea, along with cousin, Heather Neugent and friend Danielle Lowry won a competition against 25 other teams and will now be going on an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii.

Toledo is one of 60 cities nationwide in which Bud Light is hosting the Bud Light Fan Camp Competition.

Contestants competing in traditional and non-traditional NFL skills tests, including a field goal kick, precision pass, relay races, flag football and more.

The Schlea brothers were both former quarterbacks for Woodmore. “They both have wonderful, athletic abilities and their character was what made them leaders in school and on the field,” said Lou Bosh, their former high school football coach.

The top 60 qualifying teams from all over America will be competing in Honolulu at the Honolulu Stadium during the NFL Pro Bowl weekend, Jan. 28-31.

“I’m excited to compete against the 59 other teams from throughout the nation for a shot to be the Bud Light Fan Camp National Champions,” A.J. Schlea said.

The winners of the National competition will win a trip to Hawaii and the Pro Bowl next year for the four teammates plus a guest each. They will also win eight tickets for a trip to the 2013 Super Bowl, a trip to New York for the 2012 NFL draft, a trip to the 2012 NFL opening game.

“I’m looking forward to just being in Hawaii and lying on the beach,” Curtis said.

A.J., on the other hand, is focused on doing well in the competition.

“I would not be surprised if they win in Hawaii,” said Bosh.
