Lake Township’s Music in the Park and Farmer’s Market season is set to kick off Friday, June 17. Weekly concerts and the farmer’s market, which moves to Fridays this year, will be held at Friendship Park, 27975 Cummings Rd., Millbury.

The farmer’s market will run from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information or vendor signup, call 419-392-3235.

Music in the Park performances will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Concertgoers are invited to bring a lawn chair to enjoy the music in comfort. Hot dogs, brats, root beer floats and pop will be available.

The schedule includes:
June 17: Bridge County Bluegrass (CSX Night).

June 24: Genoa Legion Band.

July 8: Just Us Two – country music.

July 15: Polish American Concert Band.

July 22: Sneakers Band.

July 29: Ottawa County Bluegrass Band.

Aug. 5: Glass City Dixieland Band.

Aug. 12: Sleek Brother Band (country music).

In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Lake Township Hall, located next to the park.
