Shoppers are invited to discover a new world of shopping adventure at the grand re-opening of the Woodville Mall May 1 to 7.
Enjoy entertainment by The Thunder Road Band May 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. A car show will be held Monday evening May 2.
Family train rides will be offered May 1 from noon to 6 p.m.; May 6 from 4 to 8 p.m. and May 7 from 12:30 to 7:30 p.m.
There will also be two inflatable bouncy houses and after-school activities all week. Several new stores are already open, or will be opening soon at Woodville Mall, which was Toledo’s first indoor shopping center, according to General Manager Juanita Jones.
Some of the new shops include a children’s resale shop; a hobby shop; a natural soap shop that will include an oxygen bar; a massage therapy kiosk, an Amish store, a photography studio, dance studio, hair salon and more. Other mall stores include Debs, The Andersons Sears, Dollar Mart, Sports Maniac, Suit Your Feet, Fashion Outlet and MPWA Combat Sports Training Facility.

A number of new restaurants will be opening as well, including JJ’s Soup and Sandwich Shop, Kathy’s Pasties and Munchie Stop, Olivia’s dining and catering express and Dona Leonor Tex-Mex Taqueria, which join CJ’s Chicken, OK Wok and Freakin’ Yummy Desserts.
The mall will also hold Open Stage Days Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. in center court. Mall management will make and distribute fliers and advertise the events. Call the mall office at 419-691-7600 to schedule a date and time to play.
The Woodville Mall, located on Woodville Road at Williston, is open Monday through Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
