The Stanley Cup – the championship trophy of the National Hockey League – will visit Toledo on Jan. 7 when the Toledo Walleye take on the Reading Royals at 7 p.m. at Huntington Center.
The Walleye are affiliated with the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks, who won Lord Stanley’s namesake trophy last season. Those who purchase tickets for the game on Jan. 7 will have the chance to see the cup and have their picture taken with the iconic trophy. A professional photographer will be on hand to take fan photos and fans will be able to download their photo free of charge from the Walleye website. There will be no personal photos allowed with the Cup.
There will be two public viewing sessions with the Cup – from 7:15 to 9 p.m. on the main concourse and from 9:40 to 11 p.m. in the Lighthouse (club level)
Two private sessions with the Stanley Cup are also available and these opportunities guarantee a photo with the Cup (space is limited) and includes a game ticket for the Jan. 7 contest. They include Lunch with Stanley at the Huntington Center from noon to 1 p.m. and Dinner with Stanley from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
To purchase tickets for the lunch or dinner options, visit www.toledowalleye.com/stanleycup.
