Individual tickets for opening night of the second season of Toledo Walleye hockey season are now on sale. Tickets for the home opener, set for Oct. 16, are $16 and are available at the Huntington Center box office, by phone at 419-725-WALL or online at www.toledowalleye.com.

The team will host a “Fish Tailgate Party” beginning at 4 p.m. on Opening Night, Oct. 16, and fans are encouraged to join the party.

That day, Huron Street in downtown Toledo will be transformed into T-Town Hockey central for the “Oh-FISH-al” Opening Day Fish Tailgate party. Check out Battle of the Bands’ champion, In Theory live. Meet some of the Toledo Walleye players before they take the ice. Hear what Head Coach Nick Vitucci has to say about the upcoming season.

The fun starts at 4 p.m. Admission to pre-game activities is free.

The Walleye are the ECHL affiliate of the 2010 Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings.
