The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce will present the 32nd Apple Festival Oct. 9 and 10 in the village’s downtown.
This year’s festival will be extra special because it will also include a 175th birthday celebration for the village.
Come watch the Apple Royalty Court be crowned first thing Saturday morning. The day’s events also include a Grand Parade, kiddie tractor pulling contest, and a talent show. Sunday also promises to be chock full of fun, with a classic car show, 5K Apple Run, magicians, clowns and local performers.
The Village Birthday Celebration will be held in a tent at Adolphus Kraemer Park. As always, the Boy Scouts will be stirring and selling apple butter beside the main stage. There will be a craft show in the Community Markets VFW Hall, and a flea market at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Games and rides by Durant Amusements will be set up on Mill Street.
