In a recent online story about the best foods at minor league baseball ballparks around the country, Sports Illustrated gave the nod to Fifth Third Field’s gyro cart as one of the can’t-miss spots. Located behind home plate, the cart serves up gyro sandwiches, pita and hummus, as well as a fried bologna sandwich complete with grilled onions and melted cheese.
