The Toledo Harbor Lighthouse is served and promoted by more than 500 Toledo Lighthouse Society volunteer members who are working to restore the Toledo landmark. The lighthouse is a one-of-a-kind buff brick rolled steel roof 400 square foot structure. It features 70 windows that rise 64 feet out of the water. Restoration, which will cost $1.5 million, will include new windows and shutters and green infrastructure – powered by solar energy.
The original lighthouse Fresnel lens is showcased in the lobby of the lighthouse. Access to the lighthouse is being worked on.
