Canadian rockers the Barenaked Ladies will bring their energetic and entertaining stage show to The Toledo Zoo’s historic Amphitheatre May 14 as part of the Circle K Summer Concert Series.
Tickets are $55, $47.50 and $37.50, and seats are still available. Tickets may be purchased by visiting the Zoo’s website at www.toledozoo.org.
Best known for hit singles such as “One Week” and “If I Had $1000000,” the Barenaked Ladies have been performing together since 1988. The group has won a number of awards, including a Billboard Music Award and several Juno Awards. They have released 11 albums together, the most recent being All in Good Time, released in March 2010.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with a special guest, singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, whose songs have been featured on television programs such as “Scrubs” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” Her most recent album, “Everybody,” reached number 18 on the Billboard charts in 2009.
