Performance promises an entertaining “Elixir” The Pemberville Freedom Area Historical Society will present “Elixir” in concert
April 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic Pemberville Opera House. The performance is part of the ongoing “Live in the House” concert series.
What can audiences expect? Imagine Peter, Paul and Mary playing songs of the 1800s. Or a Beach Boys version of “Skip to My Lou.” What would a reggae version of “Down in the Valley” sound like?
Take that, and add a cappella songs, audience participation, some traditional arrangements (yes, they do that as well), mix in humor, fun props, history of songs and Smothers Brothers-style comedy.
Tickets are $10 and are available at Beeker’s General Store in Pemberville or by contacting
