Women’s connection
The Fremont Area Women’s Connection will meet Jan. 12 at Ole Zim’s Wagon Shed, 1375 N. State Route 590.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 11 a.m.

Connie Durdel, of the Sandusky County Visitor’s Bureau, will be the guest speaker.

Women’s program
Toledo East Women’s Connection will meet Jan. 14 at the Bayside Boardwalk, 2759 Seaman Street, Oregon.

Doors open at 11:45 a.m. for the noon luncheon and program.

Patrice Powers-Barker, of The Ohio State University Extension office in Lucas County, will discuss ways to stretch a food budget.

Fundraiser for mission
Signature Harley-Davidson in Perrysburg will be hosting the Frozen Bones Charity Rib-off on Jan. 7 from 5-8 p.m.  Participants include Big C's Bar-b-Que, Smokey Bones,  and Yeeha's.

The event is a fundraiser for the Cherry Street Mission.
