PERRYSBURG - Fat Fish Blue, home of the Funny Bone, is set to open at Levis Commons Aug. 4 for food service and live entertainment and Sept. 6 for comedy routines.

Fat Fish Blue home of the Funny Bone, which features a balcony overlooking the amphitheatre and the Town Green at Levis Commons, will offer creative Louisiana-Creole cooking and a relaxed atmosphere.
Rufty, former owner of Gianno’s Italian Bistro, and Jeff Gase, previously the general manager of Cousino’s Navy Bistro, together have formed a “perfect storm” of a team in the restaurant and food services business. The lineup includes John Luppino, assistant general manager; Megan Smith, assistant manager; Ed Tapp, assistant manager; Craig De Mars and Matt Sofo, chefs de cuisine; Cory Appt, sous chef and Nadia Castellija, event coordinator.
Fat Fish Blue, home of the Funny Bone is the brain child of Steve Zamborsky and Mitch Kutash, both Cleveland residents. This is the second restaurant for Steve and it is Mitch’s 15th comedy club around the nation.
Levis Commons is a 400 acre mixed-use, master planned development, the first of it’s kind in the Northwest Ohio area. The addition of the Entertainment District to the already popular shopping destination, gives those who visit Levis Commons many options. Included in the Entertainment District at Levis Commons are Fat Fish Blue, home of the Funny Bone, Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi, St. Julian’s Fitness Center, opening August 12th, Hilton Garden Inn, The Movement Lab Pilates and Casall and coming soon, a Medina VOIP retail store.
Also at the Entertainment District, mingle by the clock tower and it’s calming fountains, play a game of checkers or chess on the oversized game board or enjoy a quiet moment at the fire pit. Enjoy live music at the Amphitheatre every Thursday and Friday night in August and live music every Wednesday and Thursday in September.
