The Toledo Zoo is offering a new shuttle to take visitors from the newly renovated Anthony Wayne Trail parking lot to the front entrance (and back again) in style.

The shuttle seats up to 26 passengers, and it features a platform for strollers and wagons. In addition, it’s ADA accessible. It is expected to run on weekends throughout the spring, and then each day during the summer.

The Zoo plans to run the shuttle as needs dictate during the fall and winter months. The shuttle was funded by a grant from The Toledo Zoo Foundation.

The Toledo Zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is located on the Anthony Wayne Trail (US 25), four miles south of downtown Toledo. For more information, please visit www.toledozoo.org or call (419) 385-4040. Lucas County residents are admitted free of charge each Monday from 10 a.m. to noon. ID showing proof of residency is required.
