Gallery showcasing Owens faculty art

The diverse and vibrant work of Owens Community College faculty members is on display through Dec. 13 at Owens Community College’s Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery.

Among faculty members whose works are on display are Carey Marten of Northwood, Jim Havens of Woodville, Larry Linkous of Rossford and Michelle Carlson, Todd Cotton, Ruth Foote, Seth Grossi, Philip Hazard, Jay Langlois, Margaret Lockwood-Lass, Megan Merrell, Mark Pechlivanos and Kevin Schroeder, of Toledo.

A wide range of visual media will be featured, including works of art in the areas of painting, printmaking, ceramics, photography, graphic design, glass and sculpture.

Admission to the Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery is free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays; from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays; and from 10 a.m. to  3 p.m. Saturdays.

Owens Community College adjunct faculty member Nancy Light's "The Mummy at Home in His LA Crypt” is among the works on display in the Faculty Art Showcase in the college’s Walter E. Terhune Art Gallery.
