Choraliers to present, “A Taste of Christmas”
The Choraliers and Friends will present, “A Taste of Christmas,” Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 Oswald St., Toledo, near Waite High School.

The event is free. No tickets are required, however a free-will offering will be accepted. For more information, call Carole at 419-691-3372.

Music to your ears?
If the idea of getting a new tattoo is music to your years, check out this offer from Juki’s Tattoo & Body Piercing in East Toledo.

Anyone who donates an old band instrument will receive a free tattoo. The goal is to help a local school provide an instrument for each child. Appointments are available 10 a.m. to midnight seven days a week.

Christmas time in East Toledo
The 37th Annual East Toledo Christmas Parade will hit the streets Dec. 6 beginning at 11 a.m. The parade will travel from Ravine and East Broadway to Starr Avenue and then on to Main Street.

Porcelain workshop
Area residents wanting to provide their friends or family members with a unique, one-of-a-kind handmade gift
this holiday season are invited to attend a one-day Cold Porcelain Workshop at Owens Community College’s   Workforce and Community Services Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the College’s Workforce and Community Services building on Tracy Road in Northwood.

Participants of all experience levels are encouraged to enroll in the one-day course. Using cornstarch, white glue and water, they’ll construct an array of take-home items. Additionally, attendees will learn how to knead and color clay to create their holiday-themed ornaments, as well as magnets and key chains. Each participant is encouraged to bring a sack lunch and a small box to transport their finished projects.

Around the Bend fun
The Around the Bend Players, Toledo’s original improvisational troupe, will hold their inaugural show at their new home at the Funny Bone at Levis Commons in Perrysburg, Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
