Trail and bench sponsorships available: The Sandusky County Park District is offering an opportunity to be a partner on the new Bike Trail project.

The Fremont-Lindsey-Elmore Section of the North Coast Inland Trail is in need of “Adopt-A-Trail” sponsors, groups that will do periodic clean-up on a specific section of the trail for a designated time period. Groups will be identified by signs on their trail section.

“Bench sponsorship” is also available at two price levels: $150 for a single bench with concrete pad; $1,000 for a covered bench with a concrete pad – all constructed by park personnel. Each bench sponsor will be recognized by having the name of their choice placed on the bench.

For more information, contact Ken Frost, Chief Ranger/Safety Service Coordinator at 419-637-2900 or call the Park District Main Office at 1-888-200-5577.
