After reading the novel, Searching for David’s Heart, Fassett 6th grade students had the awesome opportunity to welcome two very special visitors to their classroom.  Searching for David’s Heart is a novel about home life and our place in the family community.  It is a wonderful story of faith, hope, and love.

Eisenhower student wins computer in writing contest
Mia Mottmiller, a seventh-grader in Mrs. Bing’s language arts class at Eisenhower Middle School, won a writing contest sponsored by the Kroger Company during Black History Month.

Mud Hens T-shirt Design Contest

Eisenhower's 8th grader, Clay Bacon, was selected as one of the top finalists for the Mud Hen's Design a T-Shirt Contest.  Dennis Short was also in the top three, but there can be one finalist from each school. A prize will be awarded to both! Their artwork will be revealed to the public for voting purposes. Winners will be announced during pre-game ceremonies on Sunday May 31.
