Sections of the internationally celebrated AIDS Memorial Quilt – the 54-ton, handmade tapestry that stands as a memorial to more than 94,000 individuals lost to AIDS – will be on view at Terra State Community College in the Student Activities Center Dec. 2 from 9 a.m-7 p.m.

“Annually, Terra State recognizes World AIDS Day to bring awareness to our campus community about this disease,” said Heath Martin, Associate Dean of Students. “Having the quilt here this year will help students visually understand what a devastating disease this is and continues to be for people from all different walks of life and all over the world.”
