Owens to host free career-planning workshops July 8 - Aug. 19
Presented by Owens’ Career Services Office, the one-hour seminars will be held in the College Hall Career Center Room 151.
The workshops are free and open to the public, however, registration is required due to space limitations. The programs will be held July 8 from 1 to 2 p.m.; July 20 from 3 to 4 p.m.; and Aug. 19 from 5 to 6 p.m.

Classroom climate is defined as an environment created for students by the school, teachers, and students. “I am continually looking to create a positive classroom climate in which student learning is maximized and in which students feel comfortable in my classroom,” Miss Stanton said. According to many educational experts, having an environment where students feel safe, nurtured, and intellectually stimulated is a must for students to learn to their potential.
