A group of classmates from the Clay High School Class of 1969 partied Saturday, July 28 at the Oak Shade Grove Club Room.

The alumni enjoyed a picnic menu of BBQ ribs, grilled chicken and summer side dishes. Among those attending were Steve and Lori Ritzenthaler, who traveled from New Carlisle, Ohio; Sue Dubbs-Hancock, who traveled from Indianapolis Ind.  and Norm and Jeaneen Whiteman-Bell, who received the long-distance traveler award for coming to the event from Coral Gables Fla.

Money generated from the party totaled $800, which will be given to the Clay High School Scholarship Fund.
